Most of you know my fiance (I love saying that!) Travis is at Navy Boot Camp in Illinois. He has been there now for 7 weeks. 1 more week to go! Which means in 1 week I get to go see him graduate and be in his arms again for a few hours (hopefully a couple days!). Words can not express how proud of him I am or how hard it has been to be away from each other with no form of communication other than hand written letters. I know this is only the beginning but I am very excited for this 8 week stretch to be over, yet so proud of all he has accomplished!
We had plans of getting married in March after his 13 week training in Missouri. However those plans have changed (I will spare you all the details) and we will be getting married this Christmas! We are having a private ceremony with just our parents, siblings, and grandparents. We are ECSTATIC (to say the least) to be married in less than 2 months! :) It is not how we originally planned it but I would not have it any other way! Christmas is going to be very eventful for us this year! Christmas is Travis's birthday, our 3 years, and now is going to be our wedding anniversary :)
Another recent change is his 13 week training has now become 10 weeks! So we will be having a large celebration/reception at the beginning of February (instead of March) when Travis is home on leave.
Also happening between now and the middle of February I will be graduating college, planning a wedding reception, Travis will graduate from training in Missouri, and we will be packing up our lives in Grand Rapids and moving somewhere that is still a mystery to us!
Learning every day to go with the flow and and never really be sure of a plan until it actually happens :) Military life is going to take some getting used to but I could not be more excited!!!
I am so excited for this adventure of life we are going to have together! I would never pick anyone else to do life with! I am truly the luckiest girl alive...and I will fight anyone who says differently! ;)
Hope you are all doing wonderful!! :)
